You know, it's never too early to get started on your Christmas crafting, so here's a fun little project I created to get you and your kids inspired! These adorable paper doll angels are printed onto card stock and then coloured with coloured pencils, though you can use paint, crayons, felt markers, glitter, crystals, etc. to pretty them up. They're held together with tiny mini brads which enable them to stand up on their own. These can easily be stored for future use simply by removing the mini brads, gently flattening and layering each one between a sheet of tissue paper (if you're planning on adding glitter). A perfect gift to make for someone special that can be cherished every year!
I am also providing a set of already-coloured angels which just need to be cut out and embellished with glitter (if desired) for those of you who'd like them. Here's what you'll need:
✼ Printer and Card Stock
✼ Coloured pencils, felt markers, paint, crayons, etc.
✼ Sharp pair of scissors
✼ Mini brads
✼ Awl or thick needle
✼ Clear-drying craft glue and a Q-tip
✼ Glitter, flat-backed crystals, etc. (optional)

Please read through instructions first before beginning this project.
☛ Print each template separately onto card stock.
☛ Colour or paint the dolls. (Skip this step if you've printed the already-coloured set.)
☛ Cut
out angels.
☛ There are many ways for you to embellish your paper angels; a simple way is to add glitter to their wings, flowers, leaves, etc. Start by applying a fine layer of glue onto the area with a Q-tip. Too much glue may cause the card stock to warp or buckle.
☛ Then sprinkle glitter over the layer of glue, allow to dry thoroughly and tap off excess.
☛ Pierce each of the 4 dots (two on either side) near the top of the straight edges with a thick needle or awl.
☛ Fold the sides towards the back of the doll and connect pierced holes together with brads, opening the prongs and laying them flat on the inside of the cone.
