Binky Boo's

Hello dear friends!  Hope you're all having a wonderful week!  I just wanted to share some pics of my newest creations - they're called Binky Boo's and their pattern is now available in my shop.

The pattern includes instructions and pattern pieces for all four Binky Boo's - a Bunny, Bear, Kitten and Fox.  Each has a different body with movable arms, a unique hairstyle and a sweet, hand embroidered face.  They measure between 4 - 6 inches tall and are fun and easy to make.  I will warn you that due to their small size, some of the pattern pieces are pretty tiny!  But, they are ever-so-sweet once finished and I'm sure they'd make adorable Easter gifts!

Hope you like them:)

New Pattern GIVEAWAY!!

Earlier this week, whilst I was still busy working on two new creations, I got a special request from a dear blogger/flickr friend who requested that I hold another pattern give-away for these two special little dolls.  I like to post pics of my works in progress on flickr, and he happened to see pics of the bunny before she was fully completed.

So, for your chance to win one of the five patterns, please leave a comment with your name and email address (very important so I can send them along to the winners!).  The draw will take place on Monday, February 27th.

Best of luck to you all!!

Flopsy and Mopsy

Hello dear friends,

Spring is on it's way and what better way to welcome it than with a sweet little bunny and her basket of carrots and a dear little kitten along with her fishy friend!

Please meet Flopsy the bunny and Mopsy the kitten!  I just completed these two this week and I absolutely adore them!  I think, for me, that they're by far the most favourite of all my creations!

Each doll measures about 8 inches tall, not including their ears.  They're made with hand woven felt and have hand embroidered details.

These two have been adopted, but I definitely have plans to make more in different colours.  I will be making the patterns for these available too and they should be ready in the next few days.  I'm planning on having a GIVEAWAY for their pattern, so please don't forget to visit for your chance to win one!!

I also recently made a little donkey named Dudley and a pony named Pinky.

I've combined their two patterns into one and they're now available in my shop.  Pinky's mane and tail have been needle felted on using two different colours of wool roving and Dudley's tail is braided embroidery thread.

Please check back within the next few days for the pattern GIVEAWAY!!

Flora the Explorer

Hello friends!  Sometimes, at the oddest moments, I'll get an idea in my head for a new design and I just have to get my notepad out and figure out the pattern for it.  Well, a couple of days ago, I had one of those moments and with out delay, I sat down to start working on a new little kitty.  I know it's cheesy, and I couldn't resist, but please meet Flora the Explorer!!  Isn't she sweet?

As usual, I've used hand woven felt to make her body, shoes and suitcase, and a pretty floral cotton print for her dress.  She's a quite a bit bigger than most of my animals and measures just over 6 inches tall.  Her dress and shoes are removable and I've made embroidered 'travel stickers' which I've appliqued onto her case.  I just love this little girl and I hope you do too!  Her pattern is now available in my shop.

Flora is easy to make and would be the perfect companion to take along on a nice long journey - after all, she loves adventures!!

Have a wonderful week:)

New!! Sweetie Pie Doll Patterns!

Hello dear friends!  Just a quick note to let you all know that the Sweetie Pie Doll patterns are now available in my shop!!  I'm so excited about these little cuties - they're easy to make and oh-so squishy and soft!

She's made from hand woven felt and a pretty Japanese bunny print cotton.  I've used a combination of hand and machine sewing and some easy embroidery stitches for her face.  Her little skirt has elastic around the waist and is removable, so it would be fun to make a few in different prints and colours for a game of dress-up!

Sweetie Pie Dolls measure about 11 inches tall and are inspired by my love of the Art Deco era.

Hope you love them too!

Cuddle Stufflings

Hello:)  I finally got around to making some more Cuddle Stufflings this week and also managed to write up the pattern for the girls too.

From left to right are:  Hopscotch, Butterscotch, Kit Kat and Kitty Boo.

The pattern for the adorable Bunny and Kitten Girls is now available in my shop.  It's a very easy pattern and they really don't take very long to make.  I just think that they're so sweet and would be perfect for little ones to cuddle with!

Hope you like them too:)
