Earlier this week, whilst I was still busy working on two new creations, I got a special request from a dear blogger/flickr friend who requested that I hold another pattern give-away for these two special little dolls. I like to post pics of my works in progress on
flickr, and he happened to see pics of the bunny before she was fully completed.

ReplyDeleteWell well hasn't today been a very interesting day. I'm six months pregnant and an English Teacher in Germany. Tuesday is aways my best and worst day of the week. Worst because I leave home at 7:20am and get back at 7:40pm... Best because I have lovely students and usually get a chance to play at Ikea between classes.
Today was extremely exhausting... My students all noticed in the first minute or too that I wasn't 100%... a little mortifying when men in their 60's can recognise dark circles and slightly oily hair as a sign of a women under the weather.
By the last class I was shattered beyond repair.
One of my students gave me a lift to the bus station where I waited to begin my 90 min three change journey home...
Despite being rather obviously pregnant only once did someone offer me a seat... and to my surprise he was a rather knock-about looking teen.
When I finally arrived home things looked up. My mother in law had come over with things for baby, took one look at the sorry state of my house and did all my laundry as well has cleaned the entire kitchen. (Every-woman should have a mother-in-law like mine)
I ha a drink and hopped into bed, (yes it was only 7:45). A few minutes later I dragged myself out thinking I should at least shower the muck of my day off.
The shower pepped me up and so I jumped online to get ideas for my Nephews 5th birthday present. He is a darling little boy who asked me to teach him to sew because he was so intrigued when I hand stitched his baby sister a dress. Shortly there after he asked if I would make him something.. I made him a rather shabby scrap material mouse and have had it on my mind ever since that he also deserves something lovingly hand crafted.
His 5th Birthday and first actual party is to be super hero themed. I remembered seeing someone made super hero dolls on facebook -SO- I jumped online to find them. The store is called 'Cook you some Noodles'. I have loved the dolls on there ever since I first saw them and finally today I had a moment of clarity ( oh so rare in my pregnancy) I finally noticed the links to YOUR patterns on her facebook page.
Oh my oh my how happy am I to have finally found them. Of course I know that Flopsy and Mopsy are not super heros. But you see I am pregnant with twin girls... Oh how it would make my day to win this pattern.
Soo... phew... ok that was long winded.. appologies
